about brighton antique maps and printsAbout Brighton Antique Prints and Maps

Brighton Antique Prints and Maps has Melbourne’s largest selection of rare maps and prints of all parts of the world. We have operated our business for 30 years. Our prints and maps are at least 100 years old and some date back as far as the 15th century; they are not modern reproductions.

We have clients from around the world who are collectors of a specific place, subject or event. Some customers regard their purchases purely from an investment standpoint.

We are located 55 minutes south of downtown Melbourne. You are welcome to visit our gallery by making an appointment.

This website offers you the opportunity to make purchases on-line, by means of a secure server.

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS, as well as direct deposit, cheques and bank drafts.

We have antique maps of Australia by Bowen, Flinders, Freycinet, Arrowsmith, Tallis, and many others. Our selection of John Goulds birds of Australia is impressive. Botanicals from the 16th – 19th century include Besler, Sweert, Miller, Barrelier, Maund, Curtis, Lyte and others. Although we have topographical views and maps of most countries, our selection of Australian material is especially extensive. We also have a large range of decorative, natural history, sporting and architectural prints.

Let us know if you are looking for a print or map not listed on our website, as we have thousands more in stock.

Our prints and maps are priced in Australian dollars and easily converted by selecting the currency converter at the bottom left hand side of the screen.
