This interesting cartographic poster created by celebrated English artist MacDonald Gill c.1937 for the British Empire Marketing Board. Features colourful maps of India, Ceylon, Sumatra and Java highlighting the main tea planation regions. Measures approximately 63cm X 102cm. One of these posters sold at auction in Melbourne four years ago for $A3,000 hammer price. Attached are two photos of the poster. More photos available.
